Lomo'Instant
It's funny how life gives you hints and puts you on a path sometimes. For months now I've been wanting to my the Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo and even though I had the money for one reason or another I just kept thinking to myself that it was too expensive. Just this morning I decided to buy myself it as a treat when I finally move out of home. Then I logged onto my computer, opened my emails and saw that Lomography is coming out with the Lomo'Instant and if you pledge through Kickstarter you can get one! I ended up pledging $154 which sprung for the $129 reward (I chose the Sanremo Edition) plus $25 International Shipping. You can watch the video below to see why the Lomo Instant is going to be so amazing! Cadds definitely needs one!
I've only backed 3 Kickstarter projects so far: Veronica Mars Movie, Beside Still Waters & Lomo'Instant. If you're into Kickstarter and know of any projects I could be interested in please let me know - so many of happened that I wished I could've backed! ♥

Thank you so much for sharing this. I recently bought a Lomo Ruby fisheye camera from urban outfitters but as there is no where close to me that develops film I have to ship them to a company that does. It would be so much easier in instant. Already buy the film for my Polaroid camera anyway.
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of kickstarter. As of backing the Lomo'instant I have now backed 79 projects. I am also a huge believer in sharing projects that I know people will like - even if I don't back the project myself. I do a post on my wordpress called Startup Saturday where I projects I think people will like/projects I have backed. If I find something I think you will like I will definitely share!
I have the Lomo fisheye and love it but I've only used it once unfortunately :( Finding somewhere to develop film is such a pain - I used to have to get mine shipped to Melbourne and it could take up to two weeks but then I found out Big W does it cheaper and I can get it within an hour which is great. Though I've noticed the quality isn't quite as good.
DeleteI'm going to keep an eye on Startup Saturdays! :)
Ooh I've been wanting one of these!

ReplyDeleteI love that they've got 3 different lenses available as well as the colour filters and double exposures... ahh it's so cool!
DeleteAh I want one of these! Looks so awesome :)
ReplyDeleteI could spend all the money on cameras though. It seems like you've made a really good choice though :) There is great value in waiting for the right purchase :)
I pretty much do spend all my money on cameras (and clothes, I have a problem...). Thanks Meg x
