2017 Goals

Happy New Year everyone! Almost all of us set goals or new years resolutions when the calendar year begins. I am no different. Here's my list for two thousand and seventeen...

  1. Move out of my mother's house
  2. Finish my screenplay 'Stuck'
  3. Design my book of writing & photos for my late teens and early twenties
  4. Drive 2 hours every week so I can get my hours up
  5. Go for a half hour walk every morning before work (if it rains do half an hour of yoga in my room)
  6. Read 50 pages of a book every single day
  7. Make a portable fairy garden
  8. Learn the dance moves to Cruisin' For A Bruisin' from Teen Movie
  9. Stop drinking soft drinks/sugary drinks in my daily life (only have it if I go out for dinner)
  10. Make my own lunch for work every day
  11. Leave my job
  12. Take a course in website development
  13. Write every single day
  14. Go on a Contiki tour in Europe
  15. Participate in a Colour Run
  16. Stop spending money on frivolous things (minimise this by unsubscribing from email newsletters)
  17. Go to 5 concerts (3 are already planned - Passenger, Panic! At The Disco, Twenty One Pilots)
  18. Go to the doctor about potentially having PCOS
  19. Get laser hair removal (so much of my life is spent shaving and I'm sick of it!)
  20. Use my Erin Condren Life Planner all year
  21. Go to church at least a couple of times
  22. Join a new social group (I did this in 2016 and it worked out so well)
  23. Film every single day with my Canon EOS 60D for my One Second Every Day project
  24. Minimise my environmental impact (use recyclable bags, reuseable water bottles, etc)
  25. Use the cameras I currently own

It's quite a long list but I think everything is achievable. I'm trying to take a different approach this year. Last year my goals were too broad and I only succeeded at 5/14 of them. My intentions also weren't there, but for the last few months I've been thinking so much about what I am going to do and be like in 2017 and I know that I can do whatever I set my mind to. Please let me know what your goals are for the year in the comments. ♥
