May | One Second Every Day

May brought about a lot of changes in my life, for which I am very grateful. As you may have noticed from my last few videos, life has been very stagnant for me so far this year as I have not had a full-time job. I'm happy to say that I am now working! My schedule is flexible so I can work as much or as little as needed, which is perfect for both me & the company. Something I struggled with in my previous job was working 9-5 every day of the week - I found it incredibly draining. Even during high school my hours were 8:30-3:10 and I would not go most Thursdays as by then I really needed a break (being an introvert is tough!). I think this job will be good for me and I'm glad I took a chance.

May forced me to take risks and to leap ahead with no fear or trepidation. I never thought I would be able to that; I am a very cautious and self-preservational person, but I took the leap in accepting the new job and travelling to Sydney for a day trip by myself. I'm really glad I travelled there by myself in January of this year or I wouldn't have known what to do. Everything happens for a reason I suppose.

Memorable moments this month:
May 12 - Little Mix Concert at the Brisbane Convention Centre
May 14 - Mum & Derek are off to America!
May 15 - Shopping with Janice & Sarah
May 18 - I GOT A NEW JOB!
May 23 - Off to Sydney for a day of training at my new job
May 24 - First official day at work
May 28 - Heading home after stocktake aka nightmare
May 29 - Visit with Sarah, Simone, Scott and baby Lilly
May 31 - One of the most beautiful sunrises I've ever seen

Hopefully I'll be back blogging on a regular schedule soon - I think I want to aim for twice a week now that I'm working. I'm going to send off some 35mm film soon to be developed so keep an eye out for those. Please leave a comment and let me know what I've been missing over the last month or two - I'd love to know what's been happening in your life. ♥
