February | One Second Every Day

For at least a year now I've been contemplating vlogging. The problem I have, is that I can look at myself, and I can hear myself without cringing, but I can't put the two together. For some reason seeing myself talking makes me want to die. Thankfully, in late January I discovered the video concept called 'One Second Every Day'.

The idea is that you film a video every day of your life, and compile one second from each day to document your life. One year amounts to about 6 minutes, so each decade you do this challenge for will give you an hour of footage to look back on.

I love how simple it is - literally anyone can do it as we all have HD video cameras with us at all times thanks to our smartphones, and the 1 Second Everyday app makes it even easier. One of the best features of the app is that you can do multiple videos based on different concepts. You can do them for your children, when you travel, for a weight loss/health journey. The possibilities are endless. You can create entire narratives with one second video clips.

Now that I've discovered this video concept I am going to do it for the rest of my life. Here's February.
