Life Lately

Thought I'd try out this kind of post for the first time - let me know what you think and if I should do them more often!
I went shopping and this picture folded in half which I think is how the cool pink leak happened!

Recently I've been sending and receiving loads of postcards from Postcrossing! This is the collection so far....

Something I've noticed with fun mail is that lots of people want to receive it but couldn't be bothered sending any. Postcrossing is a great way to avoid that...
In other news my 18-55mm lens broke! My first DSLR lens. I'm not going to bother replacing it as it's not really worth it so I'm looking into other lenses like the Sigma 35mm and Canon 10-22mm - so far the 35mm is winning. I definitely want one a bit wider because.....

....the 50mm I have produces selfies like these:
Not close enough.
I felt like baking cookies so I googled recipes that used Coconut Oil and came across these. I didn't follow the recipe (I know I know, it's a crime of baking to not follow the recipe but my philosophy is that rules are meant to be broken) and they turned out fantastic! The best chocolate chip cookies I've ever made always contain Coconut Oil.
COOKIES!!!
My brother and I went ice skating last weekend and I took this picture of him in-between poses. I absolutely love it and think he looks really cute and sweet. Completely the opposite to what he's usually like haha!
Tom at Ice Skating - the background was nearly completely white but the Instax blacked it out!

    1. I've looked into pancake lenses but I think the 35mm is great for what I need - my 50mm is just way too close sometimes. :)

  3. PostCrosing seems like an awesome idea! You've been sent such pretty cards. Might have to look into it.
