Party Favours: NYE In A Cup

For the first time in years I actually have plans for New Year's Eve! Usually I just watch One Tree Hill at home as the new year begins (yes, I am aware of how sad that sounds) but this year I'm hanging out with a couple of friends - we're not doing anything crazy, just going to the beach. But I knew I wanted to celebrate somehow so I decided to put together a few things that would make for a great night! I decided on "NYE In A Cup".

NYE In A Cup

The first thing I did was go to a couple of $2 shops - I got some silly string, confetti poppers, glow stick bracelets and some sparklers (not pictured). I already had some balloons, straws and party poppers that I also included!
Confetti Bags
I wanted to make a confetti bag for people to toss at midnight - I already had the round confetti and the bags but I bought the star confetti at Spotlight. The bags are really great as you just peel of the backing and seal it down - easy to open and close. I also wanted to put some sort of greeting or something on it - originally I wanted to put people's names on it but then I came across these really nice round 'Have a Ball' tags. I cut them out, leaving a bit of a border, then used my double sided glue tape and stuck them on.
For me
For Sarah (she likes pink)
For Janice (I can picture her with the silly string already)
For Daryl (Sarah's boyfriend)
Have a ball.
If you've put together something similar or have gained inspiration from this post please let me know - I'd love to see your creations. Happy 2014!
