For the first time in years I actually have plans for New Year's Eve! Usually I just watch One Tree Hill at home as the new year begins (yes, I am aware of how sad that sounds) but this year I'm hanging out with a couple of friends - we're not doing anything crazy, just going to the beach. But I knew I wanted to celebrate somehow so I decided to put together a few things that would make for a great night!
I decided on "NYE In A Cup".

NYE In A Cup |
The first thing I did was go to a couple of $2 shops - I got some silly string, confetti poppers, glow stick bracelets and some sparklers (not pictured). I already had some balloons, straws and party poppers that I also included!
 |
Confetti Bags |
I wanted to make a confetti bag for people to toss at midnight - I already had the round confetti and the bags but I bought the star confetti at Spotlight. The bags are really great as you just peel of the backing and seal it down - easy to open and close. I also wanted to put some sort of greeting or something on it - originally I wanted to put people's names on it but then I came across these really nice round
'Have a Ball' tags. I cut them out, leaving a bit of a border, then used my double sided glue tape and stuck them on.

For me |

For Sarah (she likes pink) |
 |
For Janice (I can picture her with the silly string already) |
 |
For Daryl (Sarah's boyfriend) |
 |
Have a ball. |
