Hi everyone! If you follow my blog you might have seen a post a couple of weeks ago where I said I was determined to start trying to lose weight.
It has been going well. I haven't lost a lot of weight (only around a kilo) but I have been exercising a lot more and eating healthier. It doesn't mean I don't have bad days but I really have been trying. The effort I'm putting in doesn't make me go out of my way to eat healthier but it does make me go for walks (I rarely did that before) and second guess whether I really need that bit of chocolate or not. Sometimes I make the right decision.
I'm hoping that by cutting down portion sizes a bit and exercising that I can succeed in making a lifestyle change for the better and lose the weight healthily. I don't want to go on a crazy diet and exercise routine, lose 20 kilos and then put it back on. I really think looking at it as a lifestyle development with minor changes every now and then will work for me in the long run.
